First time here and it was a great experience. The vibes were Very rambunctious and lively. Ate at the bar, we had the andouille sausage and seafood gumbo. It was extremely flavorful and well made. That was accompanied by their crab cake and I was pleasantly surprised. Paired with a lemon caper sauce that was chefs kiss! 10/10 would be back to try other things on the menu! Service was prompt and swift.

Upping one star. When I walk in, I will ask the table preferences (nicely of course) and specify away from the restroom. Since the last review, never had a problem and have only been a positive experience. Like fellow Yelper "Patrick" said, I did order the fondue as an appetizer and gash... it was good...very good. So cheesy and buttery and bits of spinach and shrimp on top of crunch garlic bread, definitely worth every penny. Ordered fried heaven platter and immediately requested "to-go" box. My lovely date did the same. All were good... excellent! Food, service and ambiance.... perfect. If you get a chance, try the courtyard during evening hours. Highly recommend that unforgettable southern charm! Perfect bland of soft and hardcase to wow you!

Seafood includes fish, and Pappadeaux never disappoints. Costs but worth it. If you go for fine dining, They know how. Thanks for a single birthday in a new town. That's 5 visits in 5 cities. Actually, it's more, but that sounds cool. Great bar tenders!
